Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Adult patient undergoing elective abdominal surgery under general anesthesia requiring intubation 2. patients who have given written informed consent to participate in this study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. known congenital deformity/syndrome. 2. oropharyngeal pathology. 3. Craniofacial anomalies. 4. patient at higher risk of pulmonary aspiration. 5. patient with known cardiovascular, pulmonary, hepatic, renal, neurological, endocrinologicaldisease. 6. A known/predicted difficult airway
