Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All the patients undergoing Laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair by eTEP or TAPP methods for uncomplicated inguinal hernia in Dept of General Surgery AIIMS Patna who are above 15 years age. Cases will be operated by surgeons who have performed more than 30 eTEP and TAPP.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Complicated inguinal hernias (i.e obstructed, strangulated hernias) 2.Patient who are unfit for General anaesthesia. 3.Patients willingly opting for open surgery. 4.Complete hernia

| To compare duration of hospital stay(from date of surgery to date of discharge) in days in both group.Timepoint: from date of surgery to date of discharge;To compare incidence of Surgical site occurences(SSO) (seroma, hematoma, SSI) formation after surgery by clinical examination at 7 and 30 days after surgery. Incidence of seroma will be assessed by clinical examination on day 7 and by USG in clinically suspected patients on day 30. Timepoint: at 7 and 30 days after surgery ;To compare Intra operative surgeon workload using NASA Task Load Index.Timepoint: after end of surgery;To compare post operative patient comfort using Carolina comfort scale at 24 hrs , 48 hrs and end of 1st week after surgery.Timepoint: at 24 hrs , 48 hrs and end of 1st week after surgery.;To compare postoperative pain as measured by Visual Analog Scale in eTEP and TAPP at 24 hrs, 48 hrs and end of 1st week after surgery.Timepoint: at 24 hrs, 48 hrs and end of 1st week after surgery.;To compare the incidence of hernia recurrence rates in both group.Timepoint: till 6 months after surgery | — |
