Intervention1: Pumpkin seed powder: 10 gm/day (5 gm before half an hour of breakfast and 5 gm before half an hour of dinner) from baseline till 6 months Control Intervention1: Control(No intervention)

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.T2DM patients aged between 30-65 years 2.Patients not more than 10 years of T2DM 3.Patient of either sex i.e., both male and female 4.Patient willing to give consent in writing

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients on insulin 2.Patient not willing to participate in the study 3.Pregnant, nursing, or planning for pregnancy 4.Active medical condition- a known allergy or intolerance 5.Patient having any medical or surgical illness requiring priority management 6.Patient with other endocrinal diseases 7.Patient with Frank hepatorenal complication 8.Patient with chronic illness, congenital disorder, neurological and psychiatric disorders

1.Manage reduction of Fasting blood glucose and Post prandial glucose 2. Decrease HbA1c Timepoint: Glycaemic profile will be measured: First is at Baseline (at the time of patient enrollment) Second is Follow-up (after 24 weeks {6 months} of patient enrollment)

Secondary

1. Decrease Triglycerides, low-density lipoproteins Cholesterol, Total Cholesterol 2. Increase High-density lipoproteins Cholesterol 3.Decrease Weight, Body Mass Index, Waist Hip RatioTimepoint: Anthropometric Measurements, Clinical parameters, Biochemical Parameters will be measured: First is at Baseline (at the time of patient enrollment) Second is Follow-up (after 24 weeks {6 months} of patient enrollment)
