Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients undergoing elective surgery under general anaesthesia with endotracheal intubation with direct laryngoscopy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Unwilling patient 2)Patients with prior facial, cervical and pharyngeal and epiglottis surgery or trauma history 3)Patients history of difficult intubation 4)Edentulous patients 5)Patient with a mouth opening of less than 3cms 6)Patients with head and neck pathologies 7)Patients with tracheostomy tube in situ 8)Pregnancy 9)BMI more than 30 kg/m2
