Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Obese and normal weight patients falling under sedentary category and are referred for MRI scans, aged between 18 to 60 years will be included in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals who have had head trauma. Individuals clinically diagnosed with cognitive impairment, dementia, diabetes, hypertension. Patients who are bedridden for past 6 months from the time of interview.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Brain volume and white matter integrity. Timepoint: 1 hour after the baseline measure.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Accuracy and reaction time in cognitive assessment tasks.Timepoint: 2 hour after the baseline measure.
