Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Patient of age group 50 to 70 years. 2.Visual acuity of 6/12 or less (without glass or not)Improving with glass. 3.Patients showing symptoms of Kaphaja timira-the moon ,the sun,the flame etc.appear lusturless and as though covered (with thin cloth) sitabha Drushti. 4.Irrespective of gender,cast and socio-economic status.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Senile mature or hypermature cataract. 2.Visual acuity of less than 6/60. 3.Congenital,Traumatic,complicated and metabolic cataract. 4.Patients having Retinopathic changes. 5.Patients with any other systemic disease such as DM,HTN. 6.Patients who are under steroid treatment or any kind of immunosuppressive therapy in treatment of autoimmune diseases.

| To evaluate efficacy of oral administration of Vasadi Vati in Kaphaja Timira w.r.t. Immature Cataract which will be assessed on the basis of Visual Acuity and Gradations of Cataract as per WHO..Timepoint: The total duration of treatment for each patient will be 30 days with follow up on 0th, 15th and 30th day with an observational follow up on 45th day. The effect will be assessed before and after treatment on gradation of lens opacity as per WHO grading system. | — |
