Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adequate mouth opening. Cooperative patients. Informed and written consent. Either sex. ASA grade I or II patients.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Refusal to participate in study. BMI at or above the 95th percentile for adults of same age and sex. Uncooperative patients Patients with known difficult airway such as head and neck deformities, congenital upper airway malformations, head and neck swellings, scars, neck contractures, TML dysfunction, limitation of cervical movements etc.

There will be five parameters namely demographic parameters, modified Mallampati test, interincisor gap, measurement of sternomental distance, sternomental displacement to be assessed preoperatively with the same flexible measuring tape to avoid instrumental bias.Timepoint: Assessed before the surgery

Difficulty of tracheal intubation will be assessed using Cormack Lehane Classification & Intubation Difficulty Scale (IDS).Timepoint: During insertion of endotracheal tube
