Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Elective non cardiac surgery 2.Patients of either sex 3.Age=18 years and =65 years. 4.American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) I-III. 5.BMI=30kg/m2.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Refusing to participate in study ASA greater than IV Obese BMI greater than or equal to 30kg/m2 Significant cardiovascular disease Echocardiographic views not obtainable History of myocardial infarction History of low Ejection fraction or poor cardiac contractility Patients on inotrope or vasodilator infusions Arrhythmias Modified Allen’s test negative Any neurosurgical case with risk of increased Intracranial Pressure with Passive Leg Raise Patients of abdominal compartment syndrome Pregnant female

To determine the thresholds of dynamic indices of respiratory variation in peak aortic flow in descending aorta(?V peak descAo)and respiratory variation in Left ventricular outflow tract (?V peak LVOT) to passive leg raise in differentiating preload responders and non-responders.Timepoint: Before and 1 minute after Passive Leg Raise (PLR)

Compare the percentage change in hemodynamic and echocardiography parameters Heart Rate (?HR), Systolic Blood Pressure(?SBP), Diastolic Blood Pressure (?DBP), Mean Arterial Pressure(?MAP), Stroke Volume Index(?SVI) and Cardiac Index (?CI) with PLR between responders and non-responders.Timepoint: Before and 1 minute after Passive Leg Raise (PLR);3. Compare the hemodynamic and echocardiography parameters HR, SBP, DBP, MAP, SVI, and CI between responders and non-responders.Timepoint: Before and 1 minute after Passive Leg Raise (PLR);To determine diagnostic profile, and level of agreement for percentage change in peak aortic flow in descending aorta (?V peak descAo) and in Left ventricular outflow tract (?V peak LVOT) before and after PLR, in predicting preload responsiveness to PLR among mechanically ventilated patients scheduled for non-cardiac surgeryTimepoint: Before and 1 minute after Passive Leg Raise (PLR)
