Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Healthy individuals between the age of 18-60 years will be included in Group A (Control Group) and diagnosed patients of Sthaulya (Obesity) between the age of 18-60 years will be included in Group B (Test Group). 2) Patient presenting with BMI above 25kg/m2 3) Patient presenting with WHR above 0.90 for males and above 0.85 for females. 4) Patients irrespective of their gender, occupation, religion, and socio-economic status will be selected.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients with local tongue infections and congenital anomalies will be excluded. 2) Patient having BMI below 25kg/m2 and WHR below 0.90 in males and below 0.85 in females. 3) Pregnant women and lactating women. 4) Patient having major ailments of other systems. E.g AIDS, CA of any organs, Pregnancy, Hepatitis B&C, TB etc. at the time of enrolling the patients.
