Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients undergoing elective surgeries under general anaesthesia. 2.ASA physical status 1,2,3. 3.Patient aged 18-70 years. 4.No upper airway deformity, tumor, trauma.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Modified anaesthesia protocol or cancellation of endotracheal intubation. 2.Patients with oro-facial trauma or deformity.

To assess the accuracy of preoperative ultrasound measurements namely, 1.Distance from skin to hyoid bone(DSHB). 2.Distance from skin to thyroid isthmus(DSTI). In identifying patients with difficult airway.Timepoint: Outcome will assessed at baseline.
