Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients undergoing Head and Neck Surgery from January 1, 2021, till 30th June 2023.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients undergoing minor oral surgical procedures like diagnostic laryngoscopy, biopsy, etc. 2. Laryngectomy, Thyroid surgery, parotid surgery. 3. Only neck dissection. 4. Free flap surgeries. 5. Patients with pre operative tracheostomy

MeasureTime frame
1.Incidence of early reintubation or secondary tracheostomy within 24 h of extubation.Timepoint: 6 months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. To identify factors that are associated with the successful IPORE. 2. To identify factors that are associated with the failed IPORE. 3. ICU stay time. Timepoint: 6 months
