Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All consenting healthy, patients scheduled to undergo spinal anaesthesia during the period of study aged 19-70 years
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Non-consenting Morbidly obese patients Prior carotid disease Symptomatic cardiac disease, including arrhythmia, ischemic heart disease, valvular disease Contraindication to spinal anaesthesia Failed spinal converted to general anaesthesia Pregnancy
