Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients willing to give informed consent. Patients aged > 18 years and Patients diagnosed with Ultrasound confirmed Cholelithiasis undergoing an elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy in BMCRI

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients aged 65 years. Patients of acute cholecystitis, choledocholethiasis, or complicated gall stone disease. Patients diagnosed with gall bladder carcinoma Patients who do not give informed consent.

Primary

Measure	Time frame
Two main outcomes are measured; Post operative pain and shoulder tip pain. Post-operative pain will be measured using Visual Analogue Scale at 6, 12 and 24 hours after surgery using a 0-10 pain scale. Incidence of shoulder tip pain will be assessed. Timepoint: Three main time points were assessed. Post-operative pain will be measured at 6, 12 and 24 hours after surgery using a 0-10 pain scale. Incidence of shoulder tip pain will be noted at 12 and 24 hours after surgery.	—
