Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients of both sex with history of regular alcoholic intake for more than 5 years. 2.Patients having fatty changes in the liver. 3. Patients having elevated Gamma glutamyl transferse enzyme. 4.Patients having alterations in the LFT 5.Patients of age group 18 to 60 years 6.Participants irrespective of gender, caste, religion and economic status. 7. Patients who are ready to sign the consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients having progressive stage of alcoholic liver disease like severe hepatitis , ascitis ,cirrhosis cancer etc. 2.Patients with fatty liver change due to other cause rather than alcohol. 3.Patients having any other infections like hepatitis B or C,obstructive Jaundice (Diagnosed clinically and biochemically) 4.Patients who are pregnant and lactating mothers. 5. Patients who are having other systemic disease like cancer Hypercholestremia, cardiac or renal diseases. 6.Patient with history of Gastritis, peptic ulcers, bleeding ulcer.

To study the physicochemical, phytochemical and photospectrometric evaluation of Sushtra’s Koshatakyadi yavagu. To study the nutritional value,caloric value and glycemic index of Koshatakyadi yavagu.Timepoint: 90 days
