Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Adult patients planned for undergoing feeding jejunostomy either emergency or elective, either as the single procedure or part of any other abdominal surgery 2)Adults between 18 – 80 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Pregnant patients 2) Patients who gave consent to participate but where feeding jejunostomy was not done due to any reason 3) Patients in whom feeding could not be started (eg. Due to mortality) 4) Patients with inflammatory bowel disease or abdominal tuberculo

1.Comparison of feeding jejunostomy using T tube with feeding jejunostomy with nasogastric tube with regards to perioperative complications in terms of tube blockage, tube dislodgement, leak, and FJ site infection.Timepoint: Upto 6 weeks post op

Intraoperative parameters like operative time, intraoperative complications Follow up period: Long term post operative complications, ease of FJ tube removal, and post removal complications.Timepoint: Till Feeding jejunostomy tube removal
