Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients presenting with a diagnosis of liver abscess in the emergency department with an indication of urgent percutaneous drainage

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Organised liver abscess or no urgent indication of emergency percutaneous drainage or thrombocytopenia or coagulopathy
