Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: primiparous women at first full-term pregnancy singleton pregnancies and cephalic and had no spinal deformity
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: pregnant women who had contraindication to epidural anesthesia pregnant women who had signs of fetal distress pregnant women with contraindications for vaginal delivery
