Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Subjects suffering from Gridhrasi, presenting with the classical signs and symptoms like Ruk, Toda, Sthamba, Gourava, Spandana in the Sphik, Kati, Prushta, Uru,Janu and Jangha respectively. 2) Between the age group 20-60 years, irrespective of gender. 3) Subjects who is fit for Basti Chikitsa mentioned in classics. 4) Subjects with Radiological evidence of disc bulge in M R I of Lumbar spine.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)subjects suffering with Any systemic diseases like diabetes IHD which interfere with the course of treatment. 2)Subjects with evidence of congenital anomalies of spine, Tuberculosis of spine, Traumatic fracture, Neoplasm and Epidural abscess. 3) Pregnant women and lactating mother.

There is neither the effect of Dashamulabasti followed by Pathyadi guggulu,and nor the effect of Ardhamatrikabasti followed by Vatari Guggulu is having significant effect than Vaitaranabasti followed by Trayodashanga guggulu in Gridhrasi. Changes noticed in SLR test, Changes noticed in MRI of L-s Spine done,Ruk,Sthamba,suptata,Sthamba, Aruchi, Gourava ROLAND MORRIS DISABILITY SCALE FOR THE ASSESSMENT OF SCIATICA before and after treatmentTimepoint: There is neither the effect of Dashamulabasti followed by Pathyadi guggul,and nor the effect of Ardhamatrikabasti followed by Vatari Guggulu is having significant effect than Vaitaranabasti followed by Trayodashanga guggulu in Gridhrasi.
