Interventions

Intervention1: hijamah therapy: 5 groups of anatomical sites (40 subjects/site) has been chosen to perform hijamah namely
Scalp, Cervical vertebra-7 (C7), lumbosacral joint, bilateral flanks and bilateral calf muscles. 4 pressure values has been chosen for each group i.e -225mmHg, -300mmHg, -375mmHg and -400mmHg, which w

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
to ensure patient safety and prevent malpractice by quantifying pressure value to perform hijamah.Timepoint: hijamah will be performed at specified pressure value from the following range -225mmhg, -300mmhg, -375mmhg and -400mmhg on 1st visit. skin changes will be observed on 5th day (2nd visit).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
to observe skin changes in terms of circulation and color w.r.t the pressure appliedTimepoint: second visit after 5 days
