Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Subjects presenting with the classical signs and symptoms of sandhigata vata like painful flexion and extension, swelling in the knee joint, crepitus. 2.Subjects between the age group of 40 years to 70 irrespective of gender. 3.Subjects who are fit for matra basti.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Subjects below 40 years and above 70 years of age group. 2.Subjects of janu sandhigata vata presenting with aama. 3.Presenting with other Systemic disorders like Diabetes mellitus, Hypertension, and Traumatic origin. 4.Post surgical and prosthetic knee joints. 5.With history of fracture of knee joints. 6.Patients with any type of malignancy. 7.Patients with allergic skin conditions. 8.Patients with open wounds on the knee.
