Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria:- 1.18 -45 years in both sex. 2.ASA grade I and II 3.Elective Abdominal Surgeries

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Active upper respiratory tract infections. 2.Known case of drug allergy. 3 Patients with respiratory dysfunction and obstructive sleep apnea. 4.Patients who are obese.

To determine whether Dexmedetomidine 0.5 microgram per kilogram body weight or Dexmedetomidine 1 microgram per kilogram body weight is more effective in attenuating haemodynamic responses like heart rate, mean arterial pressure,systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure during extubation in abdominal surgeries.Timepoint: Outcomes mentioned above will be measured at 0 mins, 1 min, 3 mins, 5 mins, 10 mins, 15 mins, 20 mins, 25 mins and 30 mins.

MeasureTime frame
To compare the effects of Dexmedetomidine 0.5 mcg/kg ,1 mcg/kg and placebo on extubation quality score.Timepoint: To assess the extubation quality score between all the groups from extubation to every 5 mins up to 30 mins after extubation.
