Intervention1: using total intravenous anaesthesia with or without muscle relaxant along with paraoxygenation for airway endoscopic procedures under general anaesthesia: total intravenous anaesthesia

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: all children neonates till 18 years of age undergoing elective airway endoscopic procedures would be enrolled

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: any respiratory and cardiovascular disease

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Number of episodes of desaturation 90% lasting for 15 secsTimepoint: at all time points

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
hemodynamic variables (HR, MAP, Spo2), arterial blood gas analysis at 5 and 20 mins into the procedure, complications any coughing, bucking, laryngospasm, bronchospasm and gastric insufflation and aspiration during the procedure would be recorded. Post operative nausea vomiting, desaturation, airway obstruction would be recorded.Timepoint: 5, 10,15,20 mins of procedure
