Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients of both sexes presenting with Tinea corporis ICD-10 code B35.4 or Tinea cruris ICD 10 code B35.6 based on clinical history and physical examination findings Previously diagnosed cases of tinea corporis or tinea cruris recurring after other medicinal treatments providing no avail after a washout period of 14 days As per sign and symptoms adopted from Illustrated Synopsis of Dermatology and Sexually Transmitted Diseases 4th edition. Patients with following signs and symptoms given below shall be enrolled for the study 1.Severe itching 2.Annular or Arcuate lesion 3.Periphery shows papulovesiculation and scaling and relative clearing at centre 4.Site of infection Trunk, limbs, flexures and groin Diagnostic criteria 1.Symptoms mentioned above 2.Potassium hydroxide scraping test done if required in case of unclear symptoms given above
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients who refuse to give consent for the study Cases with other severe systemic or psychiatric illness will be excluded from the study Patients having tinea corporis or tinea cruris which is secondary to DM and Hypertension etc. will be excluded Patients unwilling to participate or to comply with the study requirements
