Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To compare optic nerve sheath diameter changes from supine position to trendelenburg position in patients undergoing Robotic assisted laparoscopic prostatectomyTimepoint: 1 day

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To find the correlation between changes in ONSD with different angles of trendelenburg position during RALP. Hemodynamic changes (mean arterial pressure). peak inspiratory pressure (PIP). ETCO2. Total duration of surgery. Other complications related to trendelenburg position. Sliding cephalad(yes/no). Brachial plexus injury (yes/no). Lower extremity neuropathy (yes/no). Facial oedema (yes/no). Head ache(yes/no). Nausea/vomiting(yes/no). Blurred vision(yes/no). Post operative delirium emergence(yes/no). Timepoint: Preoperative baseline ONSD in awake patients in supine 10 minutes post intubation in supine position 30 minutes (1/2 hr ) after Trendelenburg position 90 minutes (1 ½ hr) after Trendelenburg position At end of the surgery in Trendelenburg position Before extubation in supine position
