Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patient having Moderate sign and symptoms of Ekakushtha(Psoriasis) as stated in Charaka samhita. (Aswedanam, Mahawastu, Matasyashaklopamam) 2.Patient within the age group of 20 - 50 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients diagnosed with uncontrolled hypertension, diabetes mellitus, tuberculosis, carcinoma & other chronic illness. 2.Complications of Psoriasis like Psoriatic arthritis. 3.Pregnant & lactating mother. 4.Patient taking corticosteroids & immunosuppressants since last 3 months.

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Reduction in PASI score Timepoint: 1st assessment on 0th day, 2nd assessment on 14th day and follow-up on 21st day.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Reduction in the associated symptoms like matsyashaklopama(Scaling),mandala(erythema),kandu(itching),bahalatva(epidermal thickening),Aswedana(anhydrosis),rukshta(dryness). Timepoint: 1st assessment on 0th day, 2nd assessment on 14th day & follow-up on 21st day.
