Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Single or multiple missing molars with minimum 6 months post extraction indicated for implant-supported prosthesis. Available bone height around 12mm.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Any evidence of current or previous smoking Any systemic disease likely to compromise implant surgery Previously bone grafted bone jaws Previously irradiated jaws Severe clenching or bruxism Severe maxillomandibular skeletal discrepancy Untreated active periodontitis

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate the secondary stability of short implants Timepoint: at 6th , 12th and 24th week stability of short implants will be measured

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Osseointegration speed index (OSI)Timepoint: OSI of 6.3 and 3.1 when their initial ISQ is 65 to 70 and 71 to 75, respectively
