Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Subjects Should fulfil the diagnostic criteria by ICSD III (Insomnia should be 3 nights/week for more than 3 months).Subjects within the range of age group of 18-60 years of any sexes.The patient is willing and able to comply with trial requirements.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Subjects having drug- induced insomnia, substance abuse and/or dependence.Those cases suffering from uncontrolled systemic illness (like benign hypertrophy of prostate, diabetes mellitus and hypertension) or life-threatening infections, cases already undergoing homoeopathic treatment for any chronic disease, patients with psychiatric diseases and self-reported immune-compromised states. Pregnant and lactating women. Subjects having Insomnia due to lack of opportunity and circumstances for sleep. Previous participation in any clinical trial/proving in the last 3 months.

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To study and prescribe Homoeopathic medicine in cases of Chronic insomnia.Timepoint: To study and prescribe Homoeopathic medicine in cases of chronic insomnia.Every follow up will be taken after 7-15 days for 3 months.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To compare the effectiveness of Individualised Homoeopathic medicine & Kalium phosphoricum in cases of Chronic Insomnia.Timepoint: The follow up taken for 3 months will be assessed by Sleep Diary & Insomnia severity index scales during every follow up.
