Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Female patients between the age of 18-50 years of age with unwanted facial hair coming to the dermatology OPD. 2.Females who have not taken any other treatment for unwanted facial hair will be included in the last 6 months. 3.Females willing to participate in the study with their informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Females with deranged hormonal profile will be excluded. 2. Females with history of having undergone previous laser treatment for facial hair. 3. Use of any hair removal methods within the previous 1 month.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To measure the shaft diameter , density,growth rate of facial hair in both the groups before and at each visit of laser treatment with the help of tricoscopic images.Timepoint: once in every 4 weeks

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To measure the pain & satisfaction of each patient before & after laser treatment with the help of visual analogue scale(VAS).Timepoint: at baseline & at the end of 6 sittings or the final sitting
