Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with the complaints of melasma assessed by MSI and MelasQol scales will be inculded.Patients aged 25 years and above will be included.Those who are willing to participate and give consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients having co-morbididties like Thyroid,PCOD and Melanoma (CA of skin).Patients having other dermatological co-morbidities like Dermatoses,Roscea,Vitiligo,Psoriasis.Patients exposed to previous intervention like chemical peeling , laser or any topical steroid mixed cream in last 6 months.Patients who were taking any oral or topical medications for melasma.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To study and prescribe homoeopathic medicines for melasma by using synthesis repertory as a tool of study.Timepoint: To study and prescribe Homoeopathic medicines in cases of melasma by using synthesis repertory as a tool of study.Every follow up will be taken after 10-15 days for 3 months.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To find out the effectiveness of Homoeopathic medicines by using synthesis repertory in cases of melasma.Timepoint: The follow up taken for 3 months will be used assess effectiveness of Homoeopathic medicines by using synthesis repertory in cases of melasma. The case will be assessed by MSI & MelasQol scales before & after treatment.
