Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: singleton pregnancy primiparous women at term (37to 41 weeks of gestation) age of 19-35 years active phase of labour with regular uterine contraction fetal cephalic presentation no damage or irritation at spleen 6 point not receiving any analgesia or anaesthesia no chronic disease (heart disease,pulmonary disease,hypertension)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: multipara pregnancy induced labour high risk pregnancy (DM, PRE-ECLAMPSIA) previous lscs pedal edema preterm labour BMI-greater than 30 pelvic girdle pathology cervical incompetence occurence ofany obstetric problem during study failure of patient to continue intervention non co-operative with consents emergency cesarean section
