Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Medically fit children with ASA I according to the American Society of Anesthesiologists Classification -Children without any prior experience with the dental environment or treatment procedures -Need of restorative treatment in any one carious tooth without pulp involvement.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: -Children with special needs/learning difficulties or mental retardation -Conditions requiring emergency dental treatment (abscess, draining sinus, cellulitis) -Need for pharmacological management to cooperate -Children whose behavior could be rated as definitely positive (++) or definitely negative (--) according to Wrightâ??s modification of the Frankl behavior rating scale
