Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Healthy patient of either gender belonging to 15-45 years of age group Posterior teeth with extremely deep caries and established clinical diagnosis of symptomatic irreversible pulpitis without periapical rarefaction Positive response to cold and electric pulp tests Teeth with restorable carious lesions
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with immature teeth, periodontal diseases, and subgingival caries Presence of sinus tract or swelling or periapical pathology on an IOPA radiograph. Patients with systemic conditions which could compromise the healing like uncontrolled diabetes, bleeding disorders, immunosuppression etc. Patients with history of antibiotics intake in the last 14 days and analgesics in the last 7 days Patients not willing to participate in the study
