Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients admitted with acute episode of stroke. Patients who are willing to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with previous history of stroke. Patients presented with an acute neurological syndrome other than stroke. Patients with previous or present ophthalmological lesions.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Expected primary outcome, we expect to find out Incidence of ocular symptoms and signs in stroke population in emergency department.Timepoint: 2 years.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
As secondary outcomes, we expect to find out association between clinical signs of stroke patients & location of pathology & also to determine incidence of cranial nerve affection related to vision in stroke patients presenting to emergency department within 72 hours of onset.Timepoint: December 2022 to Decembe 2024
