Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Individuals scoring between 8-30 on the Athens Insomnia Scale. 2. Individuals having a high score (equal to or higher than 5) on the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index. 3. Individuals having Ayurveda classical signs and symptoms of Anidra 4. Adults of age group 25 to 50 years irrespective of race, occupation (here means whether they are working or not working), age, religion, caste, and education. 5. Patients of OPD of AIIA. 6. Individuals who will be willing to give written consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Individuals with other comorbidities like Epilepsy, Hypertension, Diabetes, Asthma, Tuberculosis, Carcinoma, Schizophrenia, Psychosis, and any other severe illnesses. 2. Individual on any type of anxiolytic drugs, or antidepressant therapy. 3. Types of insomnia excluded in ICD 10 G47.0 (Unspecified Insomnia) i.e., alcohol-related insomnia, drug-related insomnia, idiopathic insomnia, insomnia due to a mental disorder, insomnia not due to a substance or known physiological condition, nonorganic insomnia, primary insomnia, and sleep apnoea. 4. Pregnant women and lactating mothers. 5. Individuals doing travel and shift work. 6. Individuals who are suffering from rheumatoid arthritis etc. diseases have pain as a symptom.
