Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Individuals of 18 to 70 years of age of either sex. Persons having history of sedentary life style and high calorie diet in daily routine. Diagnosis of metabolic syndrome according the revised NCEP ATP III 2001 (National Cholesterol Education Programme Adult Treatment Panel III 2001) criteria; three or more of the following five criteria are met: Waist circumference over 102 cm/40 inches (men) or 88 cm/35 inches (women), Blood pressure over 130/85 mm Hg, Fasting triglyceride level over 150 mg/dL, Fasting high-density lipoprotein cholesterol level less than 40 mg/dL (men) or 50 mg/dL(women) and Fasting blood sugar over 100 mg/dL.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Smoking and alcohol intake Any known acute or chronic hepatic, cardiac, respiratory, kidney or any systemic diseases. Person Asatmya to Takra and Haritaki Churna(senstivity, allergy, difficulty in intake and lactose intolerance, etc) Pregnancy and Lactation
