Interventions

Intervention1: Suicide prevention training for primary healthcare providers: Approximately 10 PHCs will be selected using the cluster sampling method. Five PHCs will be selected for providing suicide

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. All medical and non medical staffs working in primary health canters, sub-canters and community health canters. 2. ASHA workers working in area where the PHC facilities are situated. 3. PHCPs having more than one year of service remaining to complete. 4. PHCPs who are willing to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Primary health care providers who have already undergone structured suicide prevention training programme.
