Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients of all sexes, in the age group of 1-17 years with normal hearing status. 2.Patients attending NIH, Kolkata outpatient or inpatient ward who are suffering from enlarged adenoids or strong clinical diagnosed features of adenoid hypertrophy. 3.Patients’ parents willing to give written informed consent and the patients willing to give verbal assent (children aged between 6-11years) and or written assent (children aged between 12-17years. 4.Patients willing to do all necessary laboratory tests as required.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Complicated cases of adenoids, cleft lip, unilateral or bilateral nasal polypi. 2.Critically ill patients, immuno-compromised patients, other fatal systemic diseases, unstable mental or psychiatric illnesses. 3.Patients already undergoing conventional treatment for adenoids. 4.Patients with history of adenoidectomy or cleft palate. 5.Patients with substance abuse.
