Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Unilateral mandibular angle, ramus or condyle fractures.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Bilateral mandibular angle, ramus or condyle fractures. 2. Patients with myofascial pain disorders of TMJ. 3. Patients with neuromuscular disorders. 4. Patients with associated midface fractures. 5. Patients allergic to lactose. 6. Patients with renal diseases. 7. Previous history of craniofacial surgery. 8. Contraindication for general anaesthesia.
