Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1). Body mass index 18.5- 24.9 kg/m2 2). American society of anaesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I and II 5). Patients scheduled for upper limb fracture surgeries
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1). Patients/attendant refusal 2). Patient having an infection at the surgical site 3). Patient on chronic treatment with steroid or immunosuppressants 4). Patient on recent chemotherapy 5). Patient hepatic and renal dysfunction 6). Surgery duration >180 minutes 7). Patient converted to general anaesthesia due to brachial plexus block failure 8). Patients with pre operative abnormal leukocytes count, neutrophil count, lymphocyte count and platelet count
