Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Cases: 1. Women in reproductive age group (21-39yrs) with unexplained infertility. 2. Women with both primary or secondary infertility 3. No hormonal treatment for at least 6 months prior to study 4. No history of intra-uterine contraceptive use Controls: 1. Women in reproductive age group (21-39yrs) 2. Fertile women visiting OPD for any gynaecological disorder requiring endometrial biopsy for diagnosis and treatment of of their pathology.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with history of pelvic inflammatory diseases, pelvic surgery including caesarean section, unilateral tubal patency, ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome, diminished ovarian response, endometriosis or multiple female factors or any evidence of genital malignancy
