Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients aged 18?50 years who presented with no systemic disease (American Society of Anesthesiology class I) and requires nonsurgical root canal treatment. Mandibular 1st molar. Diagnosis of symptomatic apical periodontitis with irreversible pulpitis in a molar tooth with independent root canals. Tooth with Class 1 occlusal caries. Patients using smartphone for easy communication and to maintain regular follow up.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Medically compromised patients (with immunosuppressive/systemic diseases, patients on medications, pregnant/lactating mothers. Cracked or unrestorable teeth, teeth with periodontal probing depths 4 mm or more, had incomplete root formation, Peri apical index (PAI) score not more than 4. Tooth with severe root curvature, dilacerated, incomplete root formation and other root deformities. Sinus tract, calcified canals.
