Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patient with ASA I and ASA II patient with age more than 18 giving valid consent fracture femur patient scheduled to undergo surgery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: subjects with history of allergy to local anesthetics pregnant and lactating females infection or scarring at the site of block psychological disorder or linguistics difficulty

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
post operative pain relief based on VAS scoreTimepoint: post operative pain relief hourly for first 6 hours then 2 hourly for next 6 hours then 4 hourly for next 12 hours

MeasureTime frame
hemodynamics stability in both groupTimepoint: hourly till 24 hours
