Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Positive modified Allen’s test 2. Injury or infection at the intended site of puncture 3. Arterial diseases 4. Abnormal vascular anatomy 5. Intra-operative use of vasopressors for more than 15 minutes

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To study the time taken for return of peak systolic velocity (PSV) & the cross-sectional area (CSA) of the radial artery to the baseline values after de-cannulationTimepoint: TO base line T30 minutes T2 hours T4 hours T6 hours T12 hours T24 hours T48 hours

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1 To study the association of the time taken for return of PSV & CSA of radial artery to baseline values with Gender Age of the patient Duration of cannulation Number of attempts Co-morbidities DM, HTN, CAD, CKD. 2 To study the risk factors associated for the flow to return to baseline values 3 To assess the complications after decannulationTimepoint: 30min, 2h, 4h, 6h, 12h, 24h
