Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Diagnosed Subject of Bahupitta Kamala (Hepatitis) will be selected as per signs and symptoms described in Ayurved Samhitas. 2) Subject in between 18 and 70 years of age will be selected irrespective of their gender, social and economic status. 3) Subject showing total serum bilirubin 1 to 10 mg/dl

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Subject with other complication like malignancy. 2) Subject with known cases of Autoimmune Hepatitis, primary biliary cholangitis. 3) Subject with immuno-compromised status. 4) Subject with gall bladder disorders. 5) Pregnant women and Lactating mother. 6) Those subjects who have taken Hepatitis B and C vaccine.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1.Reduction of Sign and Symptoms of Bahupitta Kamala (Hepatitis) by two grades.Timepoint: 28 days

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1.Reduction of Bilirubin level to normal range. 2. Reduction of SGPT and SGOT value to the normal.Timepoint: Baseline, 7th,14th,21th and 28th Day follow up.
