Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with new onset atrial fibrillation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with ICU stay of less than 24hrs Patients with pre existing arrhthmias

Reversion into sinus rhythmTimepoint: 24 and 48 hours after new onset atrial fibrillation
