Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 18-75 yrs 2. Chronic stroke (3 months-120 months) 3. No previous clinical Stroke 4. Ischemic or Hemorrhagic stroke 5. Patient conscious, coherent, comprehensible, cooperative 6. Upper limb paresis 7. Clinical evaluation: 8. MMSE:24-30 9. MRC: 1-3 10. Modified Ashworth Scale (1-3) 11. Brunnstrom stage (3-5) 12. EMG (flicker) activity of EDC 13. Surgical intervention to correct hand deformities e.g Tendon transfers with power quantified through surface EMG 14. Patients residence should be within 100km range from Delhi / NCR.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Progressive neurological and cognitive worsening Progressive systemic diseases Clinically unstable Contraindications to MRI and TMS Aphasia Major stroke with NIHSS more than 16
