Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Subjects on antihypertensive drugs. 2) Subjects who fulfill the diagnostic criteria. History, examination and routine investigation show no evidence of secondary causes. 3) Essential hypertension Grade 1 and Grade 2. 4) Subjects who are willing to take part in the study and sign the written in format consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Subjects with history or routine investigations, which suggest any evidence of a secondary cause for the hypertension. 2) High risk group (Grade 3). 3) Subjects with isolated systolic hypertension. 4) Presence of any systemic illnesses (endocrinal / cardiovascular/ locomotor/ neurological/ pyschiatry etc) that was already diagnosedor detected clinically or in routine lab investigation. 5) Pregnant and lactating women.

Assessing the effectiveness of Amyl nitrosum mother tincture versus placebo with anti hypertensive drugs in the treatment of Essential HypertensionTimepoint: Initial follow up for once a week for one month. Study will be continued for 6 months.

At the end of the study, to know about Essential Hypertension with respect to: Definition Epidemiology Etiology Pathogenesis Clinical Features Diagnosis Timepoint: Each case is followed up for 6months.
