| Though several studies were conducted on walkability with respect to the built environment in the global context, there is a lack of comprehensive study influence of built environment on walkability in India, particularly for older adults in the warm & humid climate. Therefore, this research will contribute to walkability by assessing the built environment characteristics to enhance walkability in older adults with respect to the context of Udupi. The study will be conducted in Udupi as per the sampling. Data will be collected through observations, interviews, surveys & audio visual tools to understand the specific demands of older adults in the built environment for enhancing walkability for older adults that promotes their health & well-beingTimepoint: 24 months | — |
