Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA grade I and II suffering from chronic pain due to post herpetic neuralgia for at least 3 months

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: unwilligness to participate history of local anaesthesia infiltration at the site of lesion positive viral markers patients on anti coagulants patients on immunosuppressants/ steroids malignancy pregnant and lactating women
