Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Angle’s Class I bimaxillary protrusion and Angle’s class II div. I malocclusion, requiring first premolar extraction Only those patients will be selected in which atraumatic premolar extraction were done. No canine root prominence (roots in cancellous bone). No radiographic evidence of bone loss. No current active periodontal disease. No smoking. No untreated caries No systemic disease. No history of periodontal therapy.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Long term use of antibiotics, phenytoin, cyclosporine and anti-inflammatory drugs. 2) Systemic corticosteroids, and calcium channel blockers. 3) Extreme skeletal class II malocclusion. 4) Overjet >10mm. 5) Bone diseases. 6) Probing depth >4mm in any tooth
